Kemiitti 810 OP is a chemically sensitized emulsion explosive. The product is manufactured as an emulsion matrix at the loading site and pumped through a hose directly into the borehole. In the borehole, the product is sensitized into a finished explosive within 10–30 minutes after loading. Ammonium Nitrate Prills must not be mixed with the K810 OP product during charging.
Kemiitti 810 is suitable for all above-ground applications, especially in operations that require fast charging and/or good water resistance while reducing nitrogen emissions into the environment. The product is grease-like in consistency and has a white or yellowish color. Depending on the capacity of the raw material containers, 9 to 27 tons of finished explosives can be produced on the vehicle in one go. Local regulations must be observed when using Kemiitti 810 OP. The product may only be used with special agreement in specific locations.
