The RIONEL F MS series is intended for use as a downhole detonator in standard blasting situations. The RIONEL F MS is manufactured in a range of delay times. When used in combination with the RIONEL F SCX connection block, the product offers a variety of options for initiation sequences. The RIONEL F MS provides a very precise delay which reduces the risk of time overlap.
The RIONEL F LP series is intended for use in underground mining and tunneling, both in non-flammable environments. The RIONEL F LP series has a longer delay than the RIONEL F MS series, and is used in underground blasting in confined spaces that require a longer delay time.
The RIONEL F SCX series is designed for sequence blasting and allows for delay time intervals between blast holes using simple surface mount connections. The RIONEL F SCX series is used to provide different sequences between blast holes and different rows of drilled holes. In combination with the RIONEL F MS and LP, the product provides a great deal of freedom in the timing of a blast. The RIONEL F SCX consists of a signal conductor with wound wire of different lengths. The product also has a plastic connection block, which contains a lightly charged high-precision detonator with a delay that minimizes noise and splinters. Up to 6 signal conductors can be connected to the connection block, the color code of which indicates the delay.
RIONEL F BC (Bulk Igniter) is specially designed for the simultaneous initiation of multiple non-electric shock wave detonators. These junction blocks are manufactured with a length of shock wave tubing connected to a color-coded junction block with a mini-detonator containing an explosive base charge.
